Responsibilities: Technical Leadership – May mentor a technical team and assist less experienced developers with technical deliverables. My goal is to find someone who I can continue to work with on an ongoing basis if this job goes well. Details? I have purchased UltraSMSScript and they've installed it on our VPS at KnownHost. Before I launch this publicly, I would like to hire someone to do visual changes to the UI to make it look more modern. I know they push 'updates' to the platform on occasion so it was suggested to me that we have someone do CSS updates in a way that they would not be overwritten when functionality updates are pushed but too be honest, I don't really understand the aspects of how this all works. I'm looking for someone who is straight-forward and easy to work with. I would love to have a conversation via Zoom or Google Meet to show you the platform and get your feedback regarding what can be done, and how quickly. My goal is to launch this product the first week of October so the UI changes are what we need right away. and my hope is that we can create a clean and modern feel. We have a collection of different Google Sheets and Google Forms used internally for our various business processes. These are often supplemented with Google Apps scripts to enable advanced functionality. Short Term: We are looking for a proven expert in Google Sheets (and Google Apps scripting) that can help us create a custom reporting tool that compares two simple datasets. Ideally, an end user imports data into two different tabs of a Google Sheet, and you write a script that compares all of the data/rows between the two (using a key value) and presents the results on another tab. It would also show where the data from one row may conflict or differ from that of another based on the values from one column. This should be a very simple and straightforward project for someone with advanced skills with Google Sheets and Google Apps scripting. Long Term: After at least one successful collaboration on a small project (like the above), we are looking for someone that can provide ongoing support to troubleshoot and support our existing Google Sheets, Forms, and & Google Apps script code, as well as make updates, and implement new processes. As is common with Google Forms or scripts in a production environment, sometimes things may stop working from time to time, and we need someone who can be available to troubleshoot within at most a few days' notice to help fix any issues. Requirements: We must be able to have a phone call with you to talk through project requirements as needed. We also require you to be very thorough in your comments when writing or editing any script code, and generally leave notes and use cell highlighting, when needed, to make it easy for others to understand your work. Lastly, it is important that you are able to effectively communicate in writing (via Upwork messages) or with a short ad hoc phone call, when needed, during standard working hours of west coast time in the US.

Hello! We have recently upgraded our Shopify website and are using the "Flex Theme" from Out of the Sandbox. We are happy with the overall theme and design, however, we see technical areas that need improvement. We'd like to see optimization in site speed which is currently 27, as well as correction of items identified in Google Search Console, such as poor web vitals and page index issues. We are a small company and budget is limited. Due to this, we are open to a variety of structures that best fits the expert and us together. We are open to consultation work in which an expert can teach us how to correct issues fairly easily and we correct ourselves in between consultation calls.
