WellRabbit is a startup multivendor vitamin marketplace and we're looking for an expert frontend engineer to be able to help us build-out our marketplace ecommerce website to be well-designed, user-friendly, and beautiful. Ideal candidate has the following skills: - 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferably ES6 or higher), and SASS and LESS - 5 years of experience building beautiful custom-built, highly intuitive, UX/UI designs - Ability to build detailed HTML/CSS grids from scratch without recourse to a framework such as Bootstrap - Must have some experience with CS-Cart Candidate will work closely with backend engineer and other company staff to design and implement beautiful templates for every page of our site. Our backend engineer will be responsible for integrating these designs into the site. Candidate will also be responsible for working closely with lead engineering staff and attending several virtual meetings a week. Therefore, they should possess good written and verbal communication skills. Please say "WellRabbit Ready" in your proposal to prove you've read this job description. When applying, please provide links to your GitHub as well as recent websites you've worked on. We are at a stage where we want something incredibly aesthetically pleasing. The example we are working off of is someone who can build something on the frontend like KOS.com. We will therefore need to see the aesthetics in which our designer works. An example of mere code will not be enough but finished products. Candidate will be required to provide a sales proposal for the owners of the company which include a full Figma or mockup of what WellRabbit.com should look like in your opinion. This will be the final stage of the interview process.

Our website is built off of a custom platform called Qolos. We need a web designer that can deliver files only or front-end coding. No building off of Word Press, Wix, Shopify, others. Here's what we are looking for in website design/development. Ideally, our team would receive all the files (html, css, javascript, images). We would get the home page, all internal pages, checkout pages, etc. With all the files delivered, QOLOS can implement the files into the QOLOS Platform, thereby making the checkout process work per the designs. We also add in CMS ability to pages/features that need to be edited on a regular basis - such as a blog for instance. NOTE: QOLOS does not work with Angular JS. HTML/CSS/Bootstrap is preferred. Note: If the web designer is a designer only, with no front-end coding ability, QOLOS can develop the website files from Figma. We manufacture a Dietary Supplement specializing in heart health. We want to redo our website into a landing page with 2-3 other resource tabs. Television ad spots will direct the customer to the website landing page to order. We need the website to fit this specific marketing campaign.
