Looking for a mobile app developer to make a few changes to our React Native mobile app. The app is currently published on the iOS and Android app stores. Source code is currently available on a Github repository. The app interfaces with a RESTful API, with all the API libraries managed by another developer and libraries available for the react native mobile developer on Postman.
We'd like the following:1. Links Page FunctionalityCurrently the links page on the app is empty (see before.png). We would like this filled with links that will be populated from the API. (links to websites, links to external apps like Slack and Trello). The links page will differ depending what user is currently logged in. Some users might have 10 links, some 3, some none. The provided API will return in JSON format the correct links to display to the user. Once the links have been populated, the app must locally cache these, and only refresh these when the user has an active internet connection. I've attached after.png, which shows how we'd like the app to display as an example. The page must scroll depending on how many links the user has. 2. Upgrade the app targeting for the Google Play store to a new version of Android.
We'd be looking for someone who can make the above changes to the code and work with the existing API developer to implement the solution. As part of this work the developer would need publish the app onto the Google Play store and App Store and deal with any queries from Google/Apple. Please ensure any quotes cover all of this work.
Please provide an approximate cost to complete all of the work, including time to work with the API developer, user acceptance testing with the company and to revert with Google/Apple to have the app successfully published. If the partnership is successful, we'd be looking for further app development following this.
Please only apply if you have direct React Native Experience and can provide examples of React Native apps you've developed in the past. You must speak excellent English, and have time to make the changes and push the app to the Play Store/App Store in the next 2-3 weeks.
