Job Description:We are looking for a talented web developer to redesign and customize an existing website by closely replicating the look, feel, and functionality of a specific reference website. The main focus is to create a near-identical design and user experience, incorporating custom content and images.
Project Scope:The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Analyzing the source website to understand its design elements and user interactions.Replicating the website’s layout, color scheme, typography, and functionality.Customizing content by replacing text and images with provided materials or, if needed, developer-sourced images.Ensuring compatibility across different devices and browsers.Maintaining basic SEO standards and security best practices.Key Responsibilities:
Layout and Design: Match the reference website’s layout, color palette, typography, and aesthetic.Functionality Replication: Implement similar user experience and interaction patterns.Content Integration: Replace existing content with the provided text and images. Where applicable, use developer-sourced images to enhance visual coherence.Responsiveness: Ensure the website is fully responsive, adapting to all screen sizes.Cross-Browser Compatibility: Make sure the site performs seamlessly on major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).SEO Basics: Follow SEO best practices for improved search engine visibility.Security: Adhere to web security standards to protect from vulnerabilities.Requirements:
Proven experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Strong design skills with the ability to replicate existing layouts and design elements.Attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise replication of the reference website.Ability to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.Basic knowledge of SEO and security best practices.Deliverables:
A fully functional website that replicates the desired design and functionality.Clean, well-structured code for maintainability.Detailed documentation for future updates and maintenance.Additional Information:
We require the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing the reference website and sensitive project details.We will provide all necessary text and most images.
