Hi there - we are looking to build out functionality with disparate pieces of software to make it more useable for our team. Our focus will be having our CRM - Salesforce - be the main interface for the team. The goal then will be to push information to Salesforce from different systems to make sure that the data in Salesforce is up to date. The different pieces are: 1) eCommerce orders into CRM - new orders create a customer account in Salesforce with order number, contact details, shipping details, etc. 2) Fulfillment API - we have a supplier that has a public API to get order information and status, including tracking numbers and lot numbers - this should be pushed to Salesforce 3) Automated CRM email updates to customers - if an order changes from "Confirmed" to "Shipped" in the supplier portal, then automatically send an email to our customers with the shipping info 4) Download/store confirmation of shipment in the customer account when the item is received, push automated "Getting Started" email via Salesforce Eventually it would be nice to have a step in between 1 & 2 where we can "Post" order information from the CRM to our fulfilment partners, and eventually this will be automated (but needs to be manual for now for verification of customer eligibility/accounts).
