Description

I seek an experienced UK-based architect to refine existing home design plans. A prior planning application was submitted to the local council but requires minor alterations per their recommendations. The selected architect will analyze the council's feedback and strategically modify the drawings accordingly. Changes are anticipated to be negligible yet crucial for approval.
Strong communication and client service is paramount as timely coordination will be needed with all relevant parties. The architect's role is two-fold - first, subtle reworks of the designs that address each of the council's points of feedback; and second, efficient resubmission of revised plans granting permission to begin construction.
Experience navigating the UK planning process and a proven track record of attaining approval on second attempts is preferable. Candidates should demonstrate skill at interpreting requirements, distilling core issues, and creative solutions to resolve matters efficiently.
This is a focused, short-term project well-suited for an expert freelance architect. The selected candidate will receive electronic copies of the existing plans and council correspondence to appropriately revise designs securing approval and allowing the project to move forward on schedule.
