Overview:We are seeking a skilled and innovative Wix Website Developer to assist in building and optimizing advanced functionalities for our fitness platform, GymChamp. This role focuses on developing features that enable gyms and gym users to seamlessly interact with the platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Wix, a strong understanding of third-party integrations, and a passion for creating user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Subscription Membership Setup:Develop functionality to allow gyms to set up subscription memberships on the platform.Integrate Stripe for secure payment processing and subscription management.
Membership Management for Gyms:Build tools for gyms to manage their memberships, including member lists, subscription details, and payment statuses.Additional, but not essential: Implement features for gyms to communicate with their members through the platform.
User Profile Creation:Enable gym users to create and manage their profiles, including personal information and membership details.Ensure profiles are easy to update and provide a seamless user experience.
Gym Challenges and Leaderboards:Develop a system for users to view and participate in gym challenges.Create functionality to log and feed results into a live leaderboard for real-time updates and rankings.
Integration and Customization:Utilize Wix Corvid (Velo) to customize and extend the platform's functionality.Ensure seamless integration of third-party APIs and tools for performance and scalability.Testing and Optimization:
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure all features are functional and free of bugs.Optimize website performance for both desktop and mobile users.
Required Qualifications:Proven experience in developing and customizing websites using Wix.Proficiency in Wix Corvid (Velo) for advanced coding and customization.Strong knowledge of Stripe integration and payment processing.Experience with building membership management systems.Understanding of database management and dynamic content in Wix.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience developing platforms for fitness or subscription-based services.Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.Experience with live leaderboard or real-time data integrations.
