Project Description:
We are seeking a talented illustrator to bring to life Molly the Money Butterfly, a central character in our financial literacy project for children and young adults. This initiative is focused on introducing financial concepts in an engaging, age-appropriate way, starting from early education and extending through primary, secondary, and post-16 levels. As the character progresses, Molly will evolve, adapting to the learning needs of different age groups. Initially, we need a character illustration for Molly to help us introduce her in early education settings.
Molly is a vibrant and relatable character who loves to teach children about saving, spending, and understanding the value of money in a fun and imaginative way. As this project grows, we aim to expand Molly’s story into illustrated books, with other new characters related to financial literacy, potentially offering future illustration opportunities.
We are looking for exceptionally creative illustrators who can capture Molly’s essence and make her appealing to children while leaving room for her development into later stages of education. The successful candidate could be considered for future illustration work, including full book illustrations and new character designs.
