1. **United Kingdom** - Historically, the UK has had a significant number of students studying in the U.S. The latest data shows over 10,000 students from the UK.
2. **Germany** - Germany also contributes a substantial number of students to U.S. institutions. The figure is usually around 6,000-7,000 students.
3. **France** - France is another major contributor, with approximately 4,000-5,000 students studying in the U.S.
4. **Italy** - Italy has a notable presence as well, with around 3,000 students in U.S. colleges and universities.
5. **Spain** - Spain's student numbers are also significant, typically in the range of 2,500-3,000.
6. **Netherlands** - Students from the Netherlands often number around 2,000-2,500.
7. **Sweden** - Sweden contributes about 1,500-2,000 students to U.S. institutions.
8. **Switzerland** - Switzerland has around 1,500 students studying in the U.S.
9. **Austria** - Austria sends approximately 1,000-1,500 students to the U.S.
10. **Belgium** - Belgium's student numbers are around 1,000-1,200.
