Key responsibilities include performing in-depth research to fully comprehend source material, analyzing language structures and cultural contexts, then synthesizing all collected information to craft target language content that engages and resonates with local audiences.
The successful freelancer will deliver translations that read seamlessly for native German and Italian speakers while preserving the original tone, message and branding. Dynamic understanding of voice and style is essential, as is an eye for detail to catch any linguistic errors or inconsistencies. Expert familiarity with translation best practices and current tools is expected. Creativity, initiative and excellent communication skills are also musts to ensure projects are completed efficiently with stakeholders provided clear updates and feedback.
