I seek to engage an expert MetaQuotes Language programmer to convert FX trading indicator source code files from the MQL4format to the MQ4 format. The existing codebase consists of several .ex4 files containing trading logic and calculations for various technical analysis indicators. The overarching goal is to modernize this indicator code so it can be seamlessly integrated and tested within the MetaTrader 4 platform. The contracted programmer shall be well-versed in both MQL4 and MQ4 languages in order to accurately translate the underlying algorithms, formulas, and programming structure from one format to the other. Minor modifications and optimizations to the code may also be required during the conversion process. Once ported to MQ4, the converted indicator files must compile and function identically to the original .ex4 versions when linked to live and demo FX market data within the MT4 platform.
