Description


I request structural drawings and calculations for a conceptual small home design. The proposed dwelling is an 18-sided hut with a floor area of around 250 square feet. The intended construction utilizes light gauge cold-formed steel framing. At present, basic structural drawings and calculations are needed for the exterior walls and roof framing components to determine project feasibility and to yield shop drawings for cost estimation purposes only.
Preliminary drawings have been furnished for reference only. Structural drawings should illustrate the dimensions and placements of framing members and connection requirements such that the structure in in compliance with applicable load and code requirements and to verify structural soundness of the planned framing system and roof design. This preliminary evaluation aims to help optimize the design and reliably appraise expenses prior to engaging in detailed engineering.
For engineering purposes:Snow load on this structure = zero.Seismic loading = zero.Wind loading is minimal.
