We require an experienced backend developer to integrate our web application with Twilio WhatsApp APIs. The developer needs to handle the inbound and outbound messages on WhatsApp using Twilio APIs and sync the data with our backend database. Twilio authentication, sending and receiving messages programmatically needs to be implemented. Setting up webhooks for real-time messaging is also required. The developer will be responsible for the entire backend implementation including authentication, SDK integration, database transactions, error handling and scalability. Experience with Node.js, Express, MongoDB is mandatory. Async await and promise based coding is expected. Security best practices need to be followed to avoid any data breaches. Unit testing coverage should be good. This is a part-time contract position for 1-2 months. Preference will be given to candidates having proven experience of integrating chat solutions like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger with backend applications.
