Job Description:
I need a reliable WordPress developer to help with a small job on my site, coversmart.ch. We’re running an outdated Flatsome theme (version 3.0) on WordPress 6.7.2, and the UX Builder only works on the homepage, not on other pages like Contact. The goal is to update Flatsome to the latest version, fix the UX Builder issue, and ensure our current design stays intact.
Tasks:
- Create a full site backup (files + database).- Set up a staging site to test the update safely.- Update Flatsome from 3.0 to the latest version (e.g., 3.18.x).- Test UX Builder on non-homepage pages (e.g., Contact) and fix any issues.- Check for plugin conflicts (e.g., W3 Total Cache, WPML) if needed.- Make minor design tweaks (e.g., spacing, header) to match our current look post-update.

- Site: coversmart.ch (WordPress, WooCommerce-heavy, 23 active plugins).- Current setup: Flatsome 3.0, WordPress 6.7.2.- Concern: Design should stay mostly intact—mostly UX Builder/defaults used, minimal custom code.- Time Estimate: 2.5–5 hours (backup 0.5 hr, staging 0.5 hr, update 1 hr, testing 0.5–1 hr, plugins 0.5–1 hr, tweaks 0.5–1 hr).
Skills Required:
- WordPress expertise (theme updates, troubleshooting).- Experience with Flatsome theme and UX Builder.- Familiarity with WooCommerce and plugin conflicts.- Ability to work on staging sites and preserve design.
