At Scientific Word Ltd we have been providing Tech Support since 1990 for Scientific Word and Scientific WorkPlace, software published by MacKichan Software (now out of business since 2021). The Scientific Word/WorkPlace network Floating licences use FlexLM, running on a Windows server, to manage a site's multi-user licensing. The licensing works fine with FlexLM v11.16 (screenshot attached), but with FlexLM v11.18.3 we get the error message 'mackichn: Version of vendor daemon is too old' (screenshot attached). The file mackichn.exe is dated 1/7/09. Since MacKichan Software is now closed for business there is no possibility that they will release a later version of mackichn.exe. Yet as time goes by, FlexLM v11.16 (which works for MacKichan Software’s programs) will eventually be deprecated, at which point our academic users at prestigious universities will be unwilling to continue using the older unsupported version 11.16 of FlexLM - but unable to use the newer versions. Project: 1. We need a workaround for the out of date issue ('Version of vendor daemon is too old') in order that Scientific Word/WorkPlace can continue to be licensed by later versions of FlexLM. 2. Put another way, we need to get the 2009 vendor daemon mackichn.exe to work with FlexLM v11.18 and later. You must live in Republic of Guinea Your responsibilities for this project, once the equipment is set up, will be very minimal (e.g. carrying out small tasks like resetting our phones and purchasing sims, making sure the phone is online for us to connect remotely etc.) It's a great way to earn some passive income. We use a dispatching program called Service fusion. It has an API available. You can find it online if you look for it and all the documentation. It also has custom fields which are accessible. We would like someone to create the connections either directly with HubSpot or another program like zapier to do two things... 1} Keep our contacts synchronized when we enter new contacts and service fusion I had this working before but it's not working now fix it. 2) The technician can check a custom field which says please send a review link to the customer. We would like this information to transfer into a list for HubSpot and within HubSpot create a campaign automatically in a day or two to request a review. This is pretty simple Just a matter of setting up the handshakes of something that exists and probably requires absolutely no programming. I don't even think you have to write any API code the handshaking can automatically be done through HubSpot or zapier. Or something else probably. It would be nice if the person who knows how to set this up also knows how to do some email campaigning with HubSpot and has good English and who might be able to drip certain email to our customer based on some lists criteria that would be a project in the future We would like to deal with one person now and the same person in the future maybe a couple weeks from now to start the campaigning drip.
