Description:
We are seeking multiple MBSE Engineers to support our client's Digital Engineering Center of Excellence in support of a Army Land Vehicle program which is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Force.
These engineers will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution, which enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle. The efforts of this team will play a critical piece during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of product development.


Responsibilities:
- Performing analysis of system operations
- Perform system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF)
- Model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction using UML modeling tools (NoMagic preferred) - MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
- Meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability
- Extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API's
- Other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned
The main responsibility of these people will be to decompose system requirements and create models using Cameo/UML/SysML of a variety of different requirements to meet the mission of the programs.


Disqualifiers:
- No professional experience creating models
- People who want to be an architect and not perform hands on modeling
- People who are more interested in the end product rather than enhancing their career in MBSE "do you want to be an MBSE vs want to be an MBSE supporting a missile system". They want people who want to be an MBSE no matter the end product.


Best vs Average:
- Experience working on a Agile SW or Enterprise IT system
- Currently have a Secret or higher
- Have an OMG OCSMP certification (any level)

System Decomposition

Although this role does not require an active security clearance, must be able to obtain one. According to ITAR requirements, in order to obtain a government security clearance must be a citizen.
