As the Director, Business Development, you will lead a team of Sales Development Reps and Business Development Reps. You will report to the VP, Sales and work closely with other key stakeholders across the GTM (Go-to-Market), Market and Product Marketing. You are an empathetic leader who cares deeply about the success of their team, stand out as someone who is data-driven and someone that takes quick action to support the business.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of second-line leadership experience leading Sales/Business Development teams

  • A proven track record of building scalable processes, cadences and playbooks

  • Experience managing inbound programs and experience scaling outbound programs to target key industries and geographies

  • You are known for proactively solving problems and thinking outside the box

  • You have a solid understanding of business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles

  • You’re an analytical thinker and know how to turn metrics into decisions, and can present data in an impactful way

  • Previous experience using tools like Outreach.io, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Salesforce, Loom etc

  • It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager

What you can expect:

  • Build out a 30, 60, 90-day plan to tackle our key strategic initiatives 

  • Get to know the product, our culture and tools we use to run our business

  • Assist with implementing additional systems to increase productivity and efficiency

  • Understand and contribute to enhancements of the 1Password sales process utilizing your experience and expertise

  • Empower and coach the team on best-in-class inbound practices to drive more conversations and create pipeline

  • Establish an outbound strategy to target key Mid-Market/Enterprise prospects to capture logos we want as ambassadors

  • Provide motivation and direction for your team to achieve their OKRs

  • Use data to track performance and drive productivity enhancements

  • Expand on the Career GPS to create growth opportunity amongst the team
