About the role 🎉

At Runway, we’re looking for a senior leader to build, nurture and enhance partner relationships that will allow us to continue improving our machine learning models and bring more value to our users.

As the Head of Partnerships at Runway, you will identify strategic partnerships of various kinds and negotiate and close these in order to achieve business growth at Runway. Success will not be determined by the number of partners or revenue alone, but more so in your ability to understand, advocate for and protect Runway’s unique value proposition.

You should have experience working on a variety of strategic partnerships and have done many types of deals with an understanding and curiosity for creative deal making.

This is a fast-paced, partner facing role that requires industry expertise and ability for leading creatively developed partnerships.

What you’ll do 🎨

  • Manage a strategic pipeline of partnerships including identifying, prospecting, inbound and outreach, negotiations, and close

  • Work closely with different business units to understand and execute on a wide range of partnership; from data and research opportunities to enterprise deals

What you’ll need 💻

  • Strong analytical background and problem-solving skills

  • Experience building strategic partnerships

  • General knowledge/interest of the AI industry

  • Excellent ability to manage relationships with industry stakeholders

  • Experience working at a fast moving start-up

There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.

Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

Salary range: $180,000-$250,000
