About The Role:
We are looking for a seasoned and passionate Principal UI Leader to join our dynamic engineering team. As the Principal UI Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of UI engineers and creating user-centered designs for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX designers, and developers, to deliver outstanding UI solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing:
As a Principal UI Leader, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction for our major web portals and ensuring its execution by a team of over 40 engineering teams. In this critical role, you will be expected to have excellent conflict resolution skills and a strong understanding of UI technology.


We’re looking for…

 
8+ years of experience developing in JavaScript and UI frameworks
 
Working knowledge of Vue.js (or similar modern front-end stack framework) or desire to learn and advance in Vue
 
Strong understanding of communication with RESTful APIs
 
A strong front end foundation: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript
 
Experience writing front-end tests using Jest, Cypress or something similar.
 
Strong team player that wants to win together. We are a tight-knit team that’s constantly working together.
 
Work closely with product management, engineering, and UX design teams to understand project requirements and develop user-centered design solutions.
 
Strong technical leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a team of developers.
 
Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase team efficiency and effectiveness, reduce technical debt, and improve the overall quality of the UI stack.


Bonus:

 
Vue JS experience will be a bonus
 
Full stack experience with Node and Postgres
 
Experience developing SaaS applications in the cloud
 
Figma (hands-on experience)
 
Passion for product and customer, not just for code


Where you’ll be working/Location:

This role is remote in the country of Mexico. You must be located in and authorized to work in Mexico to be considered for this role.
