YOUR MISSION

Your mandate is to scale and lead the Corporate Marketing team and own the development and execution of Mural’s brand, content, social media, end-user community, and communications strategy, helping to ensure Mural is the leader in the rapidly evolving digital collaboration category.  Reporting to the CMO, this position is responsible for developing and amplifying our corporate narrative and driving brand awareness and thought leadership. This is a high profile position that will be directly responsible for shaping the Mural brand into the undisputed leader in digital collaboration.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and scale a high-performing marketing team by investing in and hiring excellent people, and supporting them with the resources and infrastructure to scale.

  • Develop the company narrative, positioning, and messaging that resonates with thought leaders, buyers and end-users at every touchpoint.

  • Lead a team of thought leaders and subject matter experts to develop our unique POV and the content programs that fuels our funnel.

  • Build and lead our content engine while partnering closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Sales to ensure our content strategy directly impacts business goals.

  • Drive Mural’s brand awareness, perception, and preference through engaging programs and content that deliver measurable improvements among key buyers, end-users, and influencers.

  • Lead social media team in setting goals, content strategy, performance management and break-through ideas that engage key buyers and influencers in meaningful ways.

  • Develop and execute a coordinated, enterprise-wide PR and AR strategy with measurable objectives; develop deep relationships with key analysts.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven leadership and executive presence. You're a proven people leader with 10+ years experience developing and motivating your team. This isn’t your first rodeo building out a high performing team. You enjoy and excel at synthesizing complex problems and convincing executives of your point of view.

  • Experience marketing a solution that is complex. You’ve been in marketing for 15+ years and Brand, Content, or Corporate Marketing for 5+ years with a focus on Enterprise SaaS; ideally B2B2C is your jam, you have outstanding narrative and storytelling abilities and understand the need to flex between both buyer and end-user audiences.

  • Strong project management skills. You're able to juggle multiple competing priorities, you operationalize processes wherever you can, and you collaborate with and rally stakeholders in order to drive towards a shared goal.

  • Cross-functional collaboration. You effectively partner and communicate with internal and external stakeholders across different disciplines. You enjoy collaborating and solving problems with a bias toward action and understand how to disagree and commit.

  • Ability to think creatively and analytically. You're comfortable digging into the data yourself and enjoy utilizing data, research and insights (along with your gut) to formulate your big ideas and decisions about how to position, message, build thought leadership, and ultimately determine what worked and what didn’t.

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role ranges from $184,200 to $253,400 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In the state of California and Washington, the salary for this role ranges from $184,200 to $280,000 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your city of residence, qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In New York City, the salary for this role ranges from $230,300 to $280,000 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.
