Location: This role can work remote, but would ideally be based in Denver, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Chicago, Dallas or Houston.

Description:

BPR is looking for a senior account executive to join our growing team! This person will serve as the day-to-day lead on client accounts (primarily in the destination/hotel space), under the direction of agency leadership. They will lead the development and execution of account strategy, creation of deliverables, and coordination of media events/campaigns from start to finish, and maintain successful relationships with key media members, locally, regionally and nationally to generate strong client results.

Requirements:

+ Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field, and 4-7 years of post-college experience in public relations, with experience as day-to-day account lead.

+ Tourism or hospitality industry, and/or agency experience required.

+ Media relationships with lifestyle, travel, food and beverage beat writers, editors and freelancers, regionally and nationally, and proven ability to secure consistent, high-quality media coverage.

+ Excellent writing skills and grammatical knowledge; proficiency in AP Style.

+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills; confidence and a collaborative nature.

+ Creative thinker, who loves coming up with new ideas, or improving upon the tried-and-true.

+ Proactive and organized; must have strong ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, prioritize, and take ownership of projects and relationships.

+ Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

+ Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work nights and weekends.

+ Knowledge of and experience using Muck Rack, as well as key social media channels, including Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, TripAdvisor and Yelp.

+ Strong knowledge of the tourism, hospitality and food/beverage industries, as well as knowledge of corresponding media outlets (travel, lifestyle, culinary media verticals).

+ Multilingual, knowledge of food and wine and love of travel are all appreciated.
