SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Contracts & RFP Manager will manage the company's efforts in responding to customer contracts and Request for Proposals (RFPs). This position will draft, review and execute RFP responses and will work with a team of contributors from the Sales, Legal and Finance departments to coordinate cross-functional responses as needed.

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to understand customer needs and develop strategy for the proposal response
Work closely with the Legal Department to understand standard contract provisions and approvals process for non-standard requests
Ownership of the contracts & RFP project timeline from a Sales perspective from beginning to end
Meet all deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meeting; transmitting proposals
Work effectively with internal subject matter experts (including Legal, IT and professional Services) to develop consistent compelling responses to satisfy contract and proposal requirements
Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases
Improve the proposal-writing processes by providing and implementing innovative ideas to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of responses
Manage requests for contract language changes to organize workflows and responses, and coordinate requests that require Legal Department involvement (drafting and/or negotiation), consistent with the Company’s contract policies and procedures.
Communicate with key stakeholders in Legal, Sales, Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement and others as appropriate to lead and implement efficient processes and obtain approvals as necessary in accordance with the Company's contracts policies and procedures
Keep records of non-standard contract provisions for contract compliance management and diligence purposes
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree required
Paralegal studies a plus
Proficiency with software tools such as Salseforce, Google Docs and Microsoft Office
Excellent research skills and the ability to write persuasively and articulately
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills; strong coordination and planning skills
Experience in drafting and/or contributing to contracts and proposals
Excellent interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
