Position Overview
The Project Manager will exude outstanding organizational skills/schedule management, written and verbal communication, the ability to quickly adapt and accurately respond to time-sensitive items, team support, and provide timely updates to the organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who has: an optimistic attitude, a willingness to help the (organization, partnered installers, vendors, consumers/customers), patience, and can assist with a variety of tasks in a fast-changing start-up environment. This individual must have strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations This is a high visibility role on a fast-growing team with an opportunity to support and contribute to day-to-day operations of the business.
Responsibilities
Task and process management of key initiatives
Coordinate engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products
Lead whiteboard sessions and divide ideation into tasks
Create detailed requirements for prototyping
Assist team leads in the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research (become an expert), benchmark/competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
Define and communicate the Statement of Work and Project Specifications for the contracted services by working closely with internal and external engineering to develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults to seek solutions to a more efficient process
Manage the day-to-day project activities by delivering appropriate and effective executive-level communication providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience
Must have experience in one of the following areas: FinTechnology, Lending, Client services
Have a "nothing is impossible" outlook and attitude, and a collaborative (team player) and forward-thinking mindset
Understanding of the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
Extensive knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques and an understanding of the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
Experience using Project Management software and methodologies
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating innovation and excellence
Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Flexible with the proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
Agile Certification
Experience in the Solar Fintech
