Contract Event Sales Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to grow our business across the US and the globe by targeting companies and clients that share our values and do good, honest business. This is a contract position with the ability for full-time hire after 1 year of work.
This contract Sales role is initially to act as coverage for our current Sales Manager who is going on Family Leave to welcome their first child! Upon their return, our intention is each Sales Manager will be assigned vertical markets based on experience and personal interest/network.

What you’ll do here
Outbound Sales: Identify, recruit and close business with new clients for 2023 and beyond
Inbound Sales: Manage and respond to RFPs, qualify and close incoming inquiries
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Bash Creative’s unique capabilities and financial objectives, as well as market trends and industry competition in order to help drive sustained revenue growth and brand strength
Build strong customer relationships rooted in honesty, hospitality, trust, and mutual respect
Accurately report your understanding and insights into customer and competitive trends
Exercise sales strategies, tactics, and action plans
Meet and exceed individual and team sales and revenue objectives
Accurately update and maintain the company CRM on a weekly basis
3+ years of direct service sales experience with a successful record of results
Proven ability to execute the full sales process from identifying target markets and clients, to lead qualification, development, contracting, negotiation, and closing
Confident and focused self-motivator and quick learner
Expertise and comfort in communicating, influencing, building relationships and selling to new customers and new market segments
Coachable with superior active listening skills
Strategic thinker able to make creative on-the-fly solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to build trust in clients immediately through active listening and industry knowledge
Resilience with the proven ability to overcome challenges while keeping a positive mindset
Resourceful and enjoys looking for new opportunities and connecting to learn

Fluent in English and a strong familiarity with American business cultural norms and vocabulary
We are hiring a full-time contract Sales Professional who has the desire to help a small business grow to its potential.
Monthly compensation of $5500 USD, paid bi-monthly
Competitive Commission Structure
5% commission for each closed sale paid as 2.5% upon receipt of the first deposit and the remaining 2.5% paid Net30 from the conclusion of the contract.
No cap on commission earned
2023 Team Sales Goal of $2.3mil (average contract ranges from $30-80K)
2023 personal Sales Goal of $300K
Potential commission of $15,000
2024 projected Sales Goal of $3mil (subject to change)
2024 personal Sales Goal of $750K
Potential commission of $37,500

Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, healthcare, equipment, and associated bills to maintain a strong and reliable internet connection that enables participation in video conference calls with multiple participants.

Your day-to-day work location is flexible as long as you are available to work 8am-5pm Pacific Time with reliable internet that can maintain a video call without delays or disruptions. Currently, our team is scattered across the continental US and often works from locations abroad.
