MARKETING MANAGER, RARE DISEASE OMNICHANNEL MARKETING


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let's do this. Let's change the world! As a key member of the Brand Team, the Marketing Manager will support impactful omnichannel promotional tactics for a first-in-class treatment for patients with a severe form of Vasculitis.

You will support the development and execution of marketing strategies that uniquely reach critical audiences including HCPs, patients, and thought leaders. You will shape brand and therapeutic area engagements, develop customer resources, and deliver on our mission to serve patients. This role will require close collaboration across critical internal functions and external agency partners. The ideal candidate is an eager, curious, courageous, and collaborative marketer looking to join a team dedicated to helping patients, inspiring health care practitioners, and delivering value in an area with great unmet need. The results of your drive and dedication will be high-impact omni-channel engagements that better serves patients, providers, and the healthcare ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing tactics targeting physicians and patients, ensuring creative/campaign excellence and integration with overall marketing strategic imperatives, behavioral objectives, and messaging priorities.
  • Support ongoing initiatives that will strengthen our omni-channel approach
  • Collaborate with the other brand team partners to ensure alignment to tactical development in a manner that provides the optimal customer experience.
  • Facilitate Medical/Legal/Regulatory compliance approval of creative assets and content development.
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations team and other partners to develop and deploy campaigns and tactics
  • Contribute to the development of media planning efforts and the implementation of the annual brand plan and present recommendations to the team
  • Develop and deliver on revenue and expense forecast expectations by managing a budget and closely monitoring performance to meet brand goals and objectives
  • Continually evaluate evolving marketing data, trends and technologies to identify and recommend new channels and capabilities that drive ROI
  • Support agency management to develop and produce engaging creative and tactics via traditional and innovative channels.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate degree

OrᅠMaster's degree and 2 years of related experience

OrᅠBachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience

OrᅠAssociate's degree and 8 years of related experience

OrᅠHigh school diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Marketing competencies: knows how to get up to speed on a new marketplace, its customers, the disease state, the product, and competition.
  • Execution and Measurement: can effectively drive customer engagement via a variety of channels; an ability to manage engagement tactics including material review process; ability to manage agencies and other external partners
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the biotech/pharma or health care space
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Collaborative teammate with an ability to motivate and influence others
  • Always in a customer first mindset, thinking with a focus on how best to serve our patients
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity and excited to always make things better
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
