Spotify Advertising Business Marketing team mission is to inspire advertisers and marketers to connect with billions of fans. The Senior Manager, Business Marketing SMB will lead all our marketing strategy and efforts aimed at deepening engagement with small and medium-sized businesses globally. We are looking for a seasoned marketer who is passionate about creativity, an excellent collaborator and effective operator This position reports to the Associate Director of Advertising Business Marketing, Global Brand.

What you'll do

  • Grow demand for Spotify Advertising with small businesses

  • Drive the positioning and go to market strategy for our Spotify Advertising Small Business products, tools and solutions, including Spotify Ad Studio

  • Lead and execute all SMB messaging, narrative, collateral for Spotify Advertising

  • Partner closely with our Channel marketing team on owned/earned/paid efforts to build a holistic SMB strategy and effective ecosystem

  • Be a champion of SMB customer insights and customer-led strategies that accelerate SMB adoption of Spotify Advertising globally

  • Develop fresh B2B approaches that are rooted in insights, creativity and desire to breakthrough

  • Focus on creating measurable impact through results-oriented programs.

  • Manage complex internal processes and multiple stakeholders to deliver deeper client engagement and significant business growth

  • Build scalable programs that can be adapted to the needs of multiple markets

  • Become a trusted leader within Spotify’s advertising business, partnering effectively with the Product Marketing, SMB Sales leadership, Comms and other XFN teams

  • Share insights from all markets to develop global programs, while also fostering a spirit of test-and-learn

  • Be obsessed with the Spotify Advertising platform; our data, ad products, measurement and enabling success for our customers

  • Be able to flex, re-prioritize and take on additional projects when there are shifts in the business

Who you are

  • BA or BS degree

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing to SMB; experience working on self-serve advertising platforms preferred

  • An effective communicator, collaborator and operator who can rally XFN teams to deliver

  • Analytical, data-driven mindset coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills - experience successfully crafting messaging and sales narratives as well as analyzing impact

  • Ability to present confidently and positively influence senior executives within the company

  • Familiar, comfortable and able to work through change. Be an anchor for the XFN through change.

  • Working hours? We operate within the EST time zone for collaboration.

The United States base range for this position is $111,667 - 159,523, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
