CSA is seeking a SharePoint Developer that will provide technical expertise in SharePoint, databases, and/or programming & scripting to help solve client-facing challenges of fellow CSA teammates. A key part of this role includes the development, sustainment, and training support for CSA’s internal business systems (employee database, business intelligence tools, intranet). The applicant will report to the Director of IT Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide SharePoint Administration and project management expertise to support business functions, executions, workflows, tracking, and management of program office data (e.g. metadata, documentation, configuration control, etc.) to support all functional areas and tasks not limited to the following:
  • Develop and manage internal tools and maintain the functional areas of data management, documentation, users, working groups, workflows, accounts, dashboards, and reports.
  • Configure and maintain the CSA SharePoint, performing development and configuration.
  • Administer user roles, security profiles, workflow rules.
  • Identify usage problems, collect user feedbacks, develop solutions to issues, and create plans for communication to end users.
  • Develop SharePoint plans, processes, and policy for team implementation
  • Provide training, demonstration, and support for on-site and remote users.
  • Coordinate with organizational leadership and develop approval process for any major changes that deviate from baseline SharePoint design.
  • Collect use feedback and continuous process and solution improvements and be available during business hours to handle urgent issues.
  • Interface with other enterprise systems in the Microsoft, Azure or AWS Environment.
  • Work with a broader SharePoint development team and provide input for system architecture and functional changes.
  • Drive and increase user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Train new employees and existing users on new system functionality.
  • Apply business acumen to help analyze and enhance business processes utilizing technologies.
  • Update and maintain system customizations requiring some light coding.
  • Document business workflow, system configuration, release notes, and user guides.
  • Coordinate with the IT Team and Department liaisons to elevate issues affecting the SharePoint application to include the related hardware/infrastructure (physical and virtual), operating system (OS), application services, SharePoint services, and network services.
  • Manage security of SharePoint site, including control, assignment, and documentation of permissions
  • Establish and enforce procedures for maintenance, backup, recovery, and overall change management activities
  • Monitor and report on SharePoint site status
  • Perform usage analysis and system optimization


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Effective management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and oral) the complexities of technical requirements, drafting, reviewing, and editing technical graphics, documents, and briefings.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration, site features, and security.
  • Experience with SharePoint Classic and Modern.
  • Experience with configuration management, versioning and standardized procedures.
  • Experience with using web design tools, including SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerAutomate/Flow, PowerBI
  • Working knowledge of VB, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance
  • Experience in training development
  • Technical writing skills Data/Knowledge Management
  • Programming Languages:
  • JavaScript
  • Bootstrap/HTML/CSS
  • VBA
  • SQL
  • Software:
  • SharePoint 2010 and 2013
  • SharePoint Designer, InfoPath
  • SharePoint PowerApps

The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range
