Embedded Firmware Engineer

EMBEDDED FIRMWARE ENGINEER - 100% REMOTE - SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY
Description:

 
Create and maintain embedded C code for Arm MCU projects
 
Develop firmware drivers, middleware and 3rd party integration code
 
Debug, test, document and deploy code for use by Renesas partners and customers
 
Integrate code with proprietary tooling using XML and basic JavaScript
 
Train, advise, review, problem-solve, and collaborate with 3rd party development partners
 
Work with engineering and marketing team members on product definition, development, test, QA, deployment, maintenance & support



Top Skills:

 
Firmware development
 
Embedded C Programming
 
RTOS experience
 
MCU experience (plus is Arm Cortex-M)



Additional Skills & Qualifications:

 
BS or MS in CS, CE or EE
 
Hands-on experience with software engineering processes and tools
 
Excellent communication skills
 
Experience developing in Linux environment
 
Hands-on system bring-up, testing, and debugging skills
 
Excellent documentation skills
 
Some experience with DevOps tools and infrastructure
