SUMMARY OF POSITION 
 
Pixelberry Studios is looking for an experienced IT Technician to help support our staff and enable them to do their best without needing to worry about tech issues.
 
The IT Technician is a vital member of the IT team, providing support to coworkers, helping develop better solutions to common issues, and keeping tech assets secured.
 
This is a temp-to-full time remote position. The work hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm Eastern Standard Time.
 
Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
 
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
 


 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  
Responding to and resolving support requests from Pixelberry staff, contractors and vendors, and other supported associates
  
Technical support may include onboarding/offboarding of staff and vendors, configuring hardware, software, and accounts while accurately and consistently following processes
  
Documenting work in tickets as they are completed
  
Contributing to documentation
  
Talented at troubleshooting client issues, researching technical issues, attempting and documenting solutions
  
Maintain off-the-shelf software being used, and regularly audit the user base of specific products


 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 

  
2+ years IT helpdesk experience, particularly in a remote support environment
  
Extensive experience supporting Mac OS
  
Familiarity with MDM, asset tracking, and ticketing systems
  
Advanced software and hardware troubleshooting skills
  
Familiarity with using command line tools & using zsh, bash, and Python to accomplish tasks and assist with troubleshooting
  
Experience supporting office networks, especially remotely
  
To be considered for this position, a candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
Keen attention to detail, responsive, patience, willingness to work with employees at all levels
  
Ability and desire to work in an environment that will require multitasking

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)
 
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $32.00 - $48.00 annually.
 
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
 
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
