Over 100,000 businesses and millions of people log in to 1Password to unlock smart, simple access to everything they care about. Our vision is to create a safer, simpler digital future for everyone, and our culture values simplicity, honesty and a human-centric approach to solving problems. Come help us unlock peace of mind so everyone can stay safer online.

Sales Enablement is the team responsible for not only empowering the rest of our Go-to-market team to succeed, but also to provide our customers with assistance and demonstrations during the discovery phase with our more technical products and tools. The end goal being success for both our customers and your fellow team members.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll be working directly with our mid-market and enterprise teams in a pre- and post-sale capacity. You will assist with strategic implementations, demos, and troubleshooting. Additionally, Senior Sales Engineers are responsible for bringing new 1Password features to the rest of the go-to-market organization. This includes collaboration on product enablement initiatives and training sessions.

This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

  • Strong level of autonomy with the ability to drive projects with limited guidance.

  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining an exceptional level of quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager—while not required, it’ll help you gain confidence quickly in this role.

  • Experience working in the security industry is an asset.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working directly with software development.

  • Personal experience with 1Password or another password manager.

What you can expect in month one:

  • Get to know the product, our culture, and the people you'll be working with.

  • Shadowing customer calls, both technical and sales, to get a feel for what customers need, expect, and look for from 1Password.

  • By the end of the first month, you’ll be able to deploy our SCIM bridge and 1Password Connect server, connect via API or IdP, and start to be able to confidently answer questions from the rest of the Go-to-market team.

What you can expect by month three:

  • You can successfully run a technical demo or consultation.

  • You can successfully demonstrate and discuss Secrets Automation.

  • Support existing customers with advanced and ongoing training needs.

  • Proactively report on customers’ needs and valuable feedback to enhance and improve processes and the product.

What you can expect by month six:

  • Own customer projects from start to finish and help some of our larger customers with trickier projects.

  • Find ways to assist our go-to-market teams to expand our installed bases of these products.

United States-based roles only: Minimum annual salary for this role is $93,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
