Financial Systems Analyst

Spotify's Financial Systems team is now hiring a hardworking application and operations expert to help maintain and mature our suite of SaaS tools. This expert will primarily help support the daily operations of our NetSuite, Concur, Coupa, and Blackline systems.

As a strong problem solver, with fine attention to detail, you will help enable Spotify’s business growth through coordination with teams across Spotify; such as Procurement, Accounting, FP&A, Global Sourcing, and Financial Engineering. 


What You'll Do

 
Administer front line support across a suite of Financial Systems (NetSuite, Blackline, Coupa, and Concur).
 
Be the responsible party for ensuring JIRA ticket resolution, through direct handling as well as triaging/delegation of tickets.
 
Fix process, application and functional issues, and lead these through to resolution.
 
Find opportunities for process optimization and system automation to enable our systems to scale as Spotify grows.
 
Support major system upgrades in NetSuite, Coupa, and Blackline.
 
Support testing of ongoing improvements.
 
Engage with team members across the entire Spotify organization.
 
Work from our office in New York or remotely anywhere in the US, collaborating closely with our other analysts on the Financial Systems team.


Who You Are

 
You are highly organized with a solid attention to detail. You take pride in completing work and helping partners.
 
You have 1+ years experience working in configuring Coupa, Concur, Blackline, or NetSuite. You’ve had an Administrator role, and are comfortable with making configuration changes such as: user access provisioning, master data management, etc.
 
You have demonstrated knowledge of support case triage and management best practices. Prior experience in an agile JIRA environment is a plus.
 
You have excellent investigation and diagnostic skills.
 
You have the ability to build sound relationships and clearly communicate expectations with team members and management.
 
You have a growth mindset, and are passionate about learning new technologies.
 
You have experience with agile development methodology.
 
Bonus: you have strong accounting experience and are interested in a career in engineering or financial systems analysis.
 
Bonus: familiarity with Javascript, HTML, or system integration.

The United States base range for this position is $77,377.00 - $110,538.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 flexible holidays.
