AssemblyAI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for ambitious Sales Development Reps who will play a key role in expanding our business globally. With significant investment and strong leadership to fuel our growth, it’s the perfect time to join the AssemblyAI team.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
Generate new sales opportunities for AssemblyAI. Be the first point of contact for potential customers and firmly build the foundations for sales engagement. You will generate new sales opportunities by outbound prospecting into target accounts. You will create interest & demand for our products through outbound channels including phone, email, and social media outlets. You will also be responsible for managing and converting inbound sign-ups into sales opportunities, focusing on speed of contact and engagement.
Play a key role in expanding our business globally. You will work closely with Account Executives to improve deal flow and grow our sales pipeline. You will identify the right customers, qualify them, help nurture the long-term relationship and help convert them into real opportunities for AssemblyAI.
Collaborate with other departments to influence business strategy. You will collaborate and provide feedback with Marketing & Sales leadership to improve our messaging, content, strategy, and results. You will also relay feedback from customers and prospects to the product and marketing teams to influence strategy.
6+ months experience of Outbound Sales Development experience with proven results
Preferred experience selling into a highly technical customer base on Engineering and Product teams
Strong written and communication skills, with excellent organizational ability in Outreach, Zoom, GSuite, etc.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Ability to connect and develop strong prospect/client relationships
Desire to help build a high performance sales organization that exceeds goals
Willingness to take ownership and execute - can work independently
Passion for understanding and explaining technology
Impeccable work ethic and dedication towards customers
Uncapped commission and 1.5x accelerators on OTE
Quarterly spiff incentives (gift cards, trips, etc) for hitting quarterly goals like "best new customer logo" or "most logos closed"
