Job Description
As a Java/Scala Software Developer, you will:

 
Design, build, and maintain SaaS Platform across the entire technology stack
 
Develop automated orchestration solutions for multi-tenant deployments
 
Design and build distributed infrastructure services
 
Arrange monitoring and alerting services to continuously improve our SLA
 
Contribute to the design and development of backend architectures that address high workloads against AWS RDS Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake

Qualifications
You’ll be a great fit if you:

 
Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
 
Have 5+ years of software development experience with Java or Scala
 
Have experience with AWS and using the following services - EC2, ELB, IAM, S3, Lambda, EBS, and EKS.
 
Have experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
 
Have experience with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
 
Have experience with monitoring and alerting systems such as OpsGenie, NewRelic, DataDog, Grafana 
 
Have experience with asynchronous systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, PubSub, Kinesis
 
Have experience with Object Oriented Programming Systems (OOPS) and event-driven architectures 

Bonus points if you:

 
Have experience with UI tool kits such as Blueprint.js
 
Have prior experience being in a fully distributed engineering team.
