JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a confident digital & social strategist who can help us build a new offering for our clients - a blend of data science and creative strategy. This hybrid leader will help us to shape how we uniquely respond to brands' problems through a mix of cultural understanding, curiosity, deep digital expertise and data.
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Head of Strategy must be able to think creatively and strategically about how best to achieve our goals for this new department. They also need to have strong communication skills in order to effectively convey their ideas to other members of the organization.
The Head of Strategy is responsible for developing and executing the strategic plans for our brand partners. They will work day to day with clients directly to understand their challenges, their brief and how we can best support them. They will mentor and manage a team of analysts and strategists who need to work together to uncover the data, find the right insights, and craft a strategic narrative that will answer our client's questions.
This role will be very hands-on in both building strategies in response to client's briefs, RFPs and upsell opportunities as well as mentoring other stakeholders (creative planners, account planners) on how to be more strategic in their day-to-day work.
This role will manage a team of 3 analysts (existing staff) and 1 lead strategist (to be hired).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will uplevel and expand our existing analytics offering and blend it with digital strategy to set our creative work up for success and offer our clients a unique blend of work that will cut through a crowded digital landscape. This role encompasses a hybrid of strategy, analytics and new business development.
