WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Are you passionate about learning and driving increased sales effectiveness? Do you aspire to have a profound impact on employees and customers? We are looking for a talented Sales Enablement & Operations Specialist who is passionate about developing front-line team members to be incredibly effective consultative sales agents.
Our vision for consultative selling is to create a deep understanding of empathy for our customers, create value, and consistently deliver the right solution for each customer's needs. We are looking for someone who can help us instill both quality and learning best practices across multiple sales teams. You will work across our Customer Experience, Sales & Inside Sales teams to deliver training and use coaching methodologies to elevate the quality of sales effectiveness. You will help to optimize metrics used for measuring success, reducing ramp time, and accelerate team effectiveness.
Additional Sales Enablement & Operations responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Sales Enablement & Operations Specialist is a hybrid learning facilitator, sales coach and mentor
Conducts end-to-end training to drive sales effectiveness and optimize sales rep ramp time
Build and facilitates strategic sales methodology workshops to develop leadership skill sets and capabilities
Provides sales and performance coaching, mentoring, and informal leadership to other trainers, front line leaders and managers
Quickly builds credibility to effectively partner with executive level leaders to prepare them to teach/coach
Operates with minimal supervision and direction
Effectively works within own organization and across business and functional units to provide deliverables
Collaborates with team members and cross functional teams
Communicates effectively based on target audience
Follows through and keeps team members informed/updated
Delivers training to the Sales organization showing how Sounding Board’s products bring value to customers across different roles and industries
Delivers the full lifecycle of training, from the new hire onboarding program, product releases, continuing education training, to post-training ad hoc support.
Executes training in diverse formats to support different learning styles, e.g. in-person hands-on product demonstrations, virtual presentations, self-service recorded videos, guided role-plays.
Conducts continuous learning events including side-by-side observations, coaching sessions (for staff and managers) to align to and increase sales process and effectiveness.
Evaluates, measures, collects, and tracks training effectiveness data and performance metrics for purposes of continuous improvement to curriculum.
Provides input about what training materials, tools, and infrastructure are needed in order to accelerate the success of the Sales organization.
Uses up-to-date knowledge and skills associated with the content being delivered and often acts as a subject matter expert in the technical/functional.
Ensures Sales readiness through feedback and coaching. Support training as needed for front-line teams on sales/new systems/process rollout
Facilitates the operationalization of the Go To Market strategy
Supports the design of a sales learning curriculum
Demonstrates the ability to administrate CRM to effectively capture desired metrics
Designs the demand and lead generation funnels to accurately measure deal cycles
Evolves and enhances metrics so leadership can accurately measure success against specific KPIs
Partners closely with Marketing to ensure metrics align with sales/rev ops

Previous experience with Learning & Development, HR, Coaching, SaaS
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
Minimum of 5+ years professional working experience. Prior Sales Enablement experience, extensive knowledge of the industry, Learning and Development expertise, and experience training people on using and/or selling enterprise market data or software.
Bachelor's in Business, Communications, or Education or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Advanced degree a plus
Experience as a sales and team leader
Experience leading change initiatives
Experience identifying and managing complex group dynamics and react real time to changes in content and/or processes
Advanced facilitation skills, including skills to open, narrow and close large group discussions, manage dialogue between executive level leaders and participants. Sales experience a requirement.
Strong presentation skills. The ability to own the room confidently and hold people's attention. Skill in facilitating and moderating interactive and informative discussions.
Experience influencing and coaching others to higher performance to deliver results
