ABOUT THE JOB:

ReadyKey is seeking a confident, driven Account Executive to join our team. This individual will define and develop our sales process to solution best-in-class, customized mobile applications technology to EHS, compliance, and manufacturing teams. Our technology is in the hands of millions of people each year, and you will be the key driver of revenue growth for the company.


ABOUT YOU:

As an Account Executive, you are on the front lines for evangelizing our product and brand to customers. It is vital that you have clear, succinct communications skills - and a proven track record of performance in a previous quota-carrying sales role. Preferably you will have demonstrable experience managing 6-figure sales volumes through typical SaaS or PaaS sales cycles. You should have previous experience selling high in an organization and are nervous about selling to just one influencer. Previous experience winning net new business is essential. You should be creative and have proven you can increase the average order value through multiple methods.

You will bring prior EHS or Compliance experience into the business, and work alongside ambitious colleagues in a small team. This is a chance to work alongside driven sales leaders to help shape our sales strategy in this next phase of our growth. Ultimately, we need Account Executives who will take initiative, learn our product quickly and thoroughly, and bring a positive attitude to work each day.

Driven by solving client problems through the combination of subject matter expertise and world-class solutions, you seek to enable not only your success, but that of those around you. As a key individual contributor supporting the larger goals of the organization, you find satisfaction in terms of salary and commission, but also seek the opportunity to build equity based on performance.

Key competencies for this role include Salesforce.com CRM experience, and Outreach.io (or another sales automation tool) - and importantly the ability and humility to use these tools to their full potential.


LOCATION:

  • Remote US. ReadyKey supports clients in EMEA and in the US, and maintaining an eastern time zone schedule is preferred.

  • Bonus for being close to Raleigh, North Carolina (where we have an office available for those who would like to use it).


WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Learn the details of the Guidebook / ReadyKey content management system and subsequent front-end app, messaging, and sales process while taking on new potential customers and demos.

  • Prospect, and develop, new business opportunities within the EHS, compliance, and manufacturing verticals. Working closely with our VP, Strategy and Partnerships to develop ReadyKey’s EHS offerings, go to market strategy, and development roadmap.


WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Sell the ReadyKey vision to prospects through product demonstrations and target-specific initiatives.

  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for defined verticals and utilize Salesforce.com to manage your pipeline, stay organized, forecast sales activity on a weekly basis, and process contracts.

  • Implement your own outbound strategies, from sourcing, to email copy and cold calls, bringing your learnings to the team with the intention to help iterate the outbound sales process as a whole

  • Work with product management to translate business needs to product requirements and craft new solutions for customers.


WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to scale the role.

  • Work with the Customer Success team to ensure a smooth and successful customer handoff process.

  • Work to make the rest of your team better - because they should be making you better too!
     

CHARACTERISTICS OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 3+ years experience in a high volume, quota carrying, sales role

  • SaaS specific solution sales acumen

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Creating and assessing reports in Salesforce.com

  • Outreach.io skills, including Templates, Snippets, Sequences

  • Inside and outside sales experience

  • Experience selling to a range of prospects (vertical, region, seniority, etc)

  • Comfortable representing the product in-person via trade shows, presentations and lectures

  • Working knowledge of macOS and Google Apps suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)

  • Sales training is bonus, such as Sandler, Miller Heiman or other sales training methodology targeted at Enterprise sales

COMPENSATION:

A reasonable estimate of the OTE for this role is $150,000-200,000 depending on relevant experience.
