Challenges You Will Solve

Field Marketing is responsible for creating and executing a marketing strategy, including campaigns and programs (virtual or in-person), that drive awareness, net-new leads, sales acceleration, and customer appreciation with the ultimate goal of increasing pipeline generation. Red Canary actively participates and organizes all kinds of in-person & virtual events ranging from industry trade shows, to webinars, to intimate customer experiences. In this leadership role, you will be working closely with the Field and Product Marketing  teams, as part of teamDemand Generation organization

What You'll Do

  • Create and manage field marketing programs, both directly and with partners, to hit pipeline targets Hire and manage a regionally-focused field marketing teams, with members supporting named sales reps

  • Use data to create and inform programs that generate early stage pipeline based on quarterly goals

  • Conceive, plan, execute, and report on first and third-party virtual and physical field events

  • Work with digital marketing, ADR, and product marketing teams to ensure coordination and coherent programs

  • Maintain metrics and reporting on program performance

  • Evaluate industry events and programs for their ability to generate sales interest and pipeline. Use these events to build the brand, develop sales pipeline, and strengthen customer and partner relationships

  • Develop end-to-end event design - From managing all logistics and event technology, creating the look and feel and creating the pre and post engagement plan, you own developing everything needed to secure leads and meetings, as well as maximizing event ROI

  • Coordinate and communicate with colleagues in the Marketing, Sales and Customer Success organizations to align field initiatives with our GTM strategy and ensure lead follow up

  • Track and report on the budget and overall expenses for your programs. Measure and optimize ROI on events to develop future programs

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience working with sales reps to create effective field marketing campaigns that drive sufficient pipeline at a target pipeline yield

  • Demonstrated effectiveness at managing all aspects of a field campaign, including contracts, working with digital marketing and ADRs to drive attendance, content planning and speaker coordination, and post-event follow up

  • Successfully worked with sales and marketing management to support agreed-to commitments

  • Proven understanding of the field-based demand generation process, including content (product marketing), activation (SDR), and operations

  • 5+ years B2B technology marketing experience, preferably at leading SaaS companies

  • 3+ years in event management 

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Marketo

  • Strong project and budget management skills, including the long term planning needed to source all assets and logistics

Targeted base salary range: $170,000 - $247,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
