Senior Visual Designer

Job Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated Senior Visual Designer who wants to continue learning at a startup. Bevy is growing fast, and in this role, you will excel at the craft of design and strengthen your strategic side by collaborating with the Design Director, Marketing team, and business leaders. You’re comfortable taking on multiple projects with varying timelines. You have informed opinions about design, enjoy working on strategic questions, and thrive with diverse teams and cross-functional partners. What you will do:

 
Design compelling graphic elements, marketing assets, and visual treatments for Bevy and various customers and brands.
 
Ensure a standard of style, typography, colors, and imagery is maintained.
 
Design mockups that will serve as prototypes for sales demos of the product.
 
Must be able to follow established brand guidelines to evolve the brand’s identity to align with the organization's future state.
 
Ability to receive feedback and translate it into tangible creative refinements.
 
Conduct technical and quality checks throughout the design and development process.
 
Edit client's websites that need style tweaks or design new website pages (if any higher custom Engineering work is required in this case, you'll be working as a team with your fellow Developers)

What you bring to the position:

 
4+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing compelling designs.
 
A strong design portfolio to showcase your UI, visualization & typography skills.
 
Experience in using UX/UI design best practices.
 
A keen aesthetic sensibility with an eye for crafting visually appealing designs.
 
Proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.
 
Proficient with visual design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and others.
 
Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
 
Strong knowledge of  HTML5, CSS3
 
Exceptional attention to detail.
 
Be passionate about all things design and emerging design trends.
 
Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple competing priorities.
 
Strong visual and verbal communication skills, effectively presenting design intent to internal and external audiences.

Salary range:  $10,000-$80,000 USD
