We’re looking for a  strategic, results-driven Director, Marketing to join our growing Marketing team at Tessera Data leading our marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on modern B2B demand generation strategies. This executive role will be responsible for creating and implementing data-driven marketing initiatives that drive rapid growth and strengthen our brand position in the market. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in B2B marketing at a senior level, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven track record of leading high-performing marketing teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with corporate goals through close collaboration with cross-functional executive teams, focusing on demand generation and customer acquisition.

  • Build, manage, and mentor a small, high-performing marketing team to execute on marketing objectives and drive measurable results.

  • Leverage data, analytics, and market research to identify target audiences, refine messaging, optimize marketing channels, and drive growth.

  • Plan and implement multi-channel B2B demand generation campaigns using modern tactics such as Account Based Marketing (ABM), content marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, webinars, and events.

  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing objectives with overall business goals.

  • Establish, track, and report on key marketing KPIs and make data-driven decisions to maximize results and ROI.

  • Develop and maintain a strong brand and market presence across all customer touchpoints, including digital and offline channels.

  • Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, analysts, and partners to drive awareness and create referral opportunities.

  • Manage marketing budget, optimize spend for maximum impact, and report on ROI to executive leadership.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on demand generation, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing marketing teams and driving growth in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Deep familiarity with modern B2B marketing tactics, tools, and platforms, including marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-channel marketing campaigns, from conception to execution to analysis.

  • Executive-level communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams and build consensus.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, combined with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $135,307 to $281,635.
