POSITION OVERVIEW


Chairish Inc. is looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team. Our Account Manager will manage and support active sellers on the Chairish platform.


This position will be a part of the Sales team at Chairish. They will work closely with Senior Account Managers and the Trade Sales Team to support new and active sellers on Chairish. The Account Manager will be well-versed in the guidelines, rules and processes around listing on Chairish and will help educate and guide new and existing sellers through the process.


This position will support key groups of new and active sellers on the Chairish platform. This will include those who have been on the site less than 90 days and are not assigned to an Executive, those who are deemed to have the potential to be a high-performer, and those involved in a merchandising or marketing promotion on the site.


In this role, this person will be responsible for monitoring and conducting thoughtful analysis of their accounts routinely. Outreach, both proactive and reactive, identifying those that should receive more or less account support and acting on alerts. This role will also be available to answer questions from this community of sellers and offer support when needed.


We’re looking for someone with a great attention to detail and an outstanding communicator, both with internal teams and Chairish sellers. This is an interdepartmental role, so being clear and consistent with all communication will be key to its success.


The success of this position will be measured on the sales performance and quality of inventory that their managed accounts bring on. Additionally, the inventory, sales and satisfaction of their group of sellers as well as account retention. This position will be the face of Chairish for these sellers, and as such, should be professional, positive, accessible and kind.


Responsibilities

  • Coach existing sellers to maximize their exposure and sales on Chairish.

  • Frequent interaction with sellers through calls, emails and in-person visits to advise on best practices and help troubleshoot.

  • Be available to answer questions on the Chairish experience including, but not limited to account setup, listing assistance process, sales process, unique Chairish features and the competitive platform analysis.

  • They will share key elements to successful selling on Chairish like product renewal, regularly posting new products, accurate listings and seller liability for inaccuracies, and markdowns.

  • Use existing tools to analyze potential within the existing accounts and how to optimize their performance

  • Tasked to make the listing assistance process easier and more efficient, both internally and with new sellers.

Your Experience

  • Familiarity with a CRM

  • Experience with excel analysis and retail math

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Attention to detail and outstanding phone skills

  • Familiarity with e-commerce

  • Experience in customer service
