Your Mission

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will Lead Platform Partnerships, Marketplace Partnerships, and Developer Experience for Mural. We’re seeking a talented, energetic leader who is eager for an opportunity to help drive Mural’s business and increase our fanbase by sourcing, evaluating, and engaging in strategic relationships.

You will:

  • Drive direct and indirect revenue through technical, awareness and sales partnerships

  • Develop, monitor and adjust the partner strategy, ideal partner profiles, and practices to continuously improve results

  • Lead analysis of partnership status, including the scope of opportunity, revenue outcomes, legal considerations, etc.

  • Evaluate strategic considerations, such as strengths and weaknesses, and develop plans to optimize the strategic impact of partnerships

  • Lead negotiations with existing and new partners with respect to licensing, product development, and commercial collaboration

  • Work closely with the Executive leadership to develop and manage key external relationships

  • Vet all inbound requests, filtering for quality and alignment with Mural’s product roadmap

  • Identify and source partnerships that will increase the adoption for our software tools

  • Coordinate execution of the plan with internal stakeholders and facilitate follow through

  • Maintain external industry contacts and draws on those contacts for insight into emerging trends and developments

  • Have a deep understanding of our product, competitive landscape, customer needs, and the role of partners in driving success

  • Develop and execute engagement & partnership strategies: Collaborate with internal and external engineering and product teams, overseeing technical integrations as needed to completion.

Your Profile:

  • 8+ years of partnership management at a leading SaaS company

  • Experience initiating and overseeing partnerships that drive behavior transformation

  • Experience working with large tech companies and Systems Integrators

  • Relationship builder, comfortable working with stakeholders of all kinds, from executives to engineering and product teams both at Mural and in partner companies

  • Adaptable and excited to work in a really fast-paced environment

  • Advanced communication skills in all forms: verbal, written, in person and online

  • Demonstrated ability to independently and logically frame a problem, provide the analysis required to answer the question, and drive the resolution is mandatory

  • Experience analyzing, structuring, negotiating, and executing commercial agreements

  • Strong track record of managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and leading multi-stakeholder groups

  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to report and explain objectives and results, and present to executives, board, and strategic partners
