We are looking for a Senior Growth Website Manager to own the end-to-end website experience: creating the vision, set and execute the strategy that will drive conversion on spendesk.com.

This role will lead our cross-functional web squad that has three key missions, all ultimately optimizing our conversion:

- Turning spendesk.com into a growth engine through experimentation and iterative implementation,

- Delighting our visitors with an excellent website UX and ensuring brand consistency,

- Improving the website’s overall performance and maintaining its infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical and project management profile, excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation skills and is both customer centric and performance driven.

About the web squad

The web squad is a cross functional yet closely-knit team that includes a brand designer, a growth engineer, and a second growth engineer currently being recruited. The squad members are formally part of the brand and engineering team, but join forces bringing their respective area of expertise to the table, with a dotted line reporting to the Senior Growth Website Manager.

The candidate can work fully remotely within France, Germany or UK

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Build and execute the strategy to drive conversion on spendesk.com;

  • Lead the growth web squad, a cross functional team including a brand designer, a growth engineer, and a second growth engineer currently being recruited. While you won’t manage the squad directly, you will be responsible for planning and orchestrating work execution to achieve the desired goals.

  • Develop quarterly roadmaps, manage projects & prioritize the workload of the web squad;

  • Lead web experimentation from research, ideation and prioritization to analysing results and implementing the successful experiments at scale;

  • Carry out regular website audits and identify areas for improvement;

  • Act as the point of contact for the rest of the Marketing, the Revenue and the Product organization to receive input and feedback on website projects;

  • Be the voice of the website squad at Spendesk by regularly sharing insights from key experiments.

YOUR COMPETENCY PROFILE:

  • Project management - You deliver big and small projects on time and budget to drive meaningful outcomes, and are comfortable with working agile.

  • Ability to prioritize - You focus the team on the projects that will make the biggest difference.

  • Collaborative - You have demonstrated success working cross-functionally and have the ability to forge strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal partners and customers.

  • Data Savvy: You are comfortable analysing complex sets of data and running reports. You regularly apply data insights to your work.

  • Knowledge of the web tool stack - While we have Growth Engineers who are responsible for the technical aspect of projects and our web, you are comfortable with standard web tools and have a strong enough technical acumen to understand the work.

  • 5+ years of experience in web development or product management;

  • 1+ year of experience running experimentation and A/B tests on the web to optimize conversion;

  • 2+ years of experience managing projects relying on multiple stakeholders (doesn’t need to be direct reporting)

  • Experience with Amplitude or Google Analytics is a plus.

  • You speak English fluently, French or German is a strong plus.
