Aumni is an investment analytics company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. At Aumni, we are creating an automated platform to extract information directly from venture capital deals and provide the most comprehensive strategic insights related to the economic and legal details in each investment. Our dashboard presents VC firms with an intuitive interface to make important decisions about their portfolio of investments and financial performance.
Having closed our 50M+ Series B in August 2021 (https://www.aumni.fund/blog/aumni-raises-50m-series-b-funding-round), we are rapidly expanding to build new features and attract new customers. We're continuing to grow our team and are looking for incredible talent to drive our mission of giving investors instant access to the most reliable financial and legal insights across their portfolio, sourced directly from their executed legal agreements, triple-checked by venture experts, and analyzed by AI.


 About the Role

We are looking for a strong mid-level Rails engineer to help us continue to build out our core functionality. Your primary focus will be the back-end development of new features for venture capitalists.
In addition, you will be expected to help keep our application performant and well-architected so that our code is maintainable, consistent, and readable for new developers. We are big believers in quality code, code linters, testing, and code reviews.
Aumni is a Ruby on Rails backend with a React front end.
This position is for Salt Lake City (Cottonwood Heights), UT or 100% remote.


 Experience


 
5+ Years of Rails and Postgres experience
 
1+ year of React experience preferred
 
Side projects that you're happy to show off
