WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
With a personal commitment and investment in establishing and maintaining effective interpersonal and communication practices, the candidate will coordinate many of the operational processes for the Coaching Excellence Team, thereby contributing to the team’s mission to scale the highest quality coaching in the industry. The candidate will partner with all members of the global Coaching Excellence Team (CET) to ensure alignment, integration, and management of the communications and processes across the team, between this team and other cross-functional teams in the organization, and between this team and the global Sounding Board community of contracted coaches community.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the CET in developing and implementing a communications and project management strategy that ensures the timely dissemination of relevant information to the CET, and those that work closely with the team, to oversee the delivery of leadership coaching for Sounding Board.
Additional Coaching Excellence Team Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Successfully onboarding new CET staff
Maintaining consistent documentation by the team of progress towards team goals and company strategic priorities
Coordinating CET meetings, events, and communications
Scheduling events for our global coach community
Scheduling, coordinating, and delivering coach guidance to our global coach community
Coordinating community engagement initiatives for our global coach community
Supporting successful offboarding of coaches
Collaborating across the CET to facilitate successful onboarding and offboarding of CET staff and coaching vendors through activities such as: Scheduling interviews, scheduling orientation activities, setting up project management work flows to manage the coordination of activities across the team, managing e-communications with staff and coaches
Partnering with the CET Coach Guidance and Development team to successfully plan, coordinate, communicate, and implement community and learning events through activities such as: Scheduling events to be globally inclusive of our coach community, and maintaining events calendars and Zoom accounts associated with delivering events
Maintaining processes and software infrastructures that support the scaling and functioning of the CET through activities such as: Maintaining shared drive structures, building and maintaining project management software project and work plans, supporting team members in adoption of technology to advance their work, project managing regular updates to goals
Supporting the team in coordinating a communication strategy to deliver streamlined, regular communications to the rest of the organization and to our global coach community
Developing and tailoring coach-specific communications and content to promote two-way communication, community engagement, and inform coaches of new processes and policies as the business evolves
Be a knowledgeable point of contact within the Sounding Board CET, as well as within the Sounding Board coach community, modeling the company values and The SB Way
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?
Excellent verbal, written, and oral skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize and organize key messages to develop concise and clear communications
Demonstrated experience leveraging technology systems and creating automation of work through technology and project management tools to improve processes and communication, with specific experience in Asana and HubSpot preferred
Demonstrated experience working within the Google and Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g., Gmail, Google calendar, Google sites, Google slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Creative problem solver who can learn and adapt well to changing circumstances and evolving business needs and development
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to thoughtfully judge and discern priorities when overseeing multiple projects
Experience managing complex projects and demonstrated ability to achieve success both independently and through others
Experience building trusted relationships with peers, colleagues, senior leaders, and customers
Knowledge of or excitement to learn about the professional coaching industry and experience working with professional coaches
Ability to work in a team environment with collaboration across multiple areas, fostering collaboration and teamwork
Experience working within global organizations, adapting communication and relationship building based on the local culture of those being engaged
Demonstrated ability to influence through relationships
Experience in high growth organizations preferred
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
Bachelor’s degree related to communications, marketing, business administration, or project management
3+ years professional experience as a communications specialist and/or project manager
Fluency in technology that can support global, asynchronous communications using an evolving set of best practices in digital communications
Experience working within organizations operating globally is strongly preferred
Experience managing global event scheduling and communications is strongly preferred
