Web Developer

We’re looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team of innovative marketers. The ideal candidate is a talented artist who has extensive technical expertise and can work independently or with a team to create, maintain, and update websites and landing pages. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web applications and services is essential to succeed in this role. The web developer will have an immediate impact on our brand and will help solidify our industry-wide reputation for stellar design. The role will report to our Senior Manager, Creative Services and offers an exciting opportunity to grow your passion for digital experience in a growing, mission-driven education technology company. 
This position can be located in any geography in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities: 

 
Responsible for building, maintaining and scaling website and landing pages 
 
Fix any functionality issues, including the removal of broken links or images
 
Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, properly structured, and compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
 
Implement proper systems to track core web vitals.
 
Report on website performance using Google Analytics and other tools.
 
Implement and manage tracking tags on websites/landing pages.
 
Provide technical support to the team by generating UTMs and QR codes.
 
Manage projects in a timely fashion, coordinating with creative and content teams to ensure pages are launched on schedule.

Qualifications: 

 
5-6 years of web development or related experience
 
Experience with Hubspot
 
Knowledge of web analytics and technical SEO
 
Understand UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards
 
Proficient in modern HTML/CSS
 
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
 
Confident with Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager.
 
Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team.
 
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
 
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

 
Experience with heat mapping, A/B testing software, a plus!
 
Knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services — including API, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design
