Brand & Digital Advertising Analyst

As a Brand and Advertising Insights Analyst within the Insights team at Sensor Tower, you will drive the creation and publication of customer-facing research into the global app and digital advertising ecosystem. Leveraging our wealth of quantitative data, you will identify emerging trends and opportunities within the market for various brands, and craft reports, analyses, and other content based on your findings. 

The ultimate responsibility for this position will be to provide meaningful and actionable insights to drive business growth for customers and prospects. This is the ideal position for an analyst who seeks to work with large and extensive datasets in an exciting, rapidly growing, and ever-evolving market. Additionally, the analyst should be excited to follow industry trends, whether they be retail, mobile gaming, the macroeconomic environment more generally or advertising.

What You Will Do:

 
Analyze large, extensive data sets to derive insights for customer and public facing content, with a focus on connecting the data to trends in brand advertising, marketing and media
 
Build an intimate understanding of Pathmatics’ data and platform (as well as the Sensor Tower platform), how it meets the needs of their customers, and use its features to gather insights and educate both our clients and internal teams
 
Work closely with leaders of our various functional teams to identify their immediate ad-hoc data insight needs
 
Use data to develop recommendations of use cases that align with our business priorities
 
Work with our PR team to help fulfill media requests for Sensor Tower data and insights in a timely and efficient manner
 
Monitor trends in the mobile app and advertising space to identify compelling and actionable insights for current and prospective customers, particularly those in the brand vertical


Experience We Want to See:

 
This position REQUIRES a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, how they can work together, and how they differ. You know what levers a digital marketer can pull to optimize their program in a given channel. 
 
You have a proven track record of at least 4-5 years in product marketing and branding with a focus on data analytics and how they apply to advertising.  
 
A passion for data analysis and presentation of data insights (an interest in intersection between advertising, brands and shift to mobile apps). You should be comfortable with advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables.
 
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences with a wide range of technical and business knowledge to highlight the value of Sensor Tower’s products, particularly its Pathmatics dataset
