ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Hiring and Partnerships Manager for the Career Success Employer Relations team at Fullstack Academy, you’ll support our efforts to attract and serve high quality employer partners. You’ll work closely with our Director of Career Success to develop a strategy for engaging employers-of-choice in a variety of technical fields and position Fullstack Academy as a key part of their early career talent acquisition strategy. You’ll pitch new employers on the value of working with Fullstack Academy and deepen relationships with existing partners through thoughtful partnerships and innovative new products and services. You’ll manage the tools and technologies that allow employers, students and alumni to connect with each other.
This role is remote and reports to our Director of Career Success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain a robust network of employer partners who are excited to work with a diverse group of graduates from our immersive education programs
Develop a systematic process for outreach to recruiting and/or engineering teams at target companies (using email campaigns, LinkedIn and other creative methods)
Cultivate and maintain up-to-date listing of career opportunities from employer partners in our career services management system, GradLeaders
Work closely with Career Success Coaches to refer current students and alumni to appropriate career opportunities
Maintain feedback loop between employer partners and Fullstack Academy to inform the work of key teams: Product, Academics, Career Success, etc.
Identify and manage partnership KPIs, goals, metrics and other data to drive partnerships strategy
Use data and industry insights to develop and execute marketing and communication plans in order to connect with new and existing employer partners
Building a network of alumni who can serve as ambassadors for our programs and help connect us with potential employers
Continually research and stay in front of industry trends regarding employer’s needs, the evolving tech landscape and talent acquisition strategy to best position Fullstack as a key talent partner with employers
Collect actionable data to provide insights into recruitment trends (peek seasons, slow seasons etc);
Support employer and outcomes requests from Fullstack stakeholders
Supervise 1 direct report
QUALIFICATIONS
You’re a great candidate if you have:
4-5 years experience in a combination of agency or programmatic recruiting, working in HR, or career services/coaching function.
A deep understanding of the goals, processes, and nuances of Tech Recruiting
The ability to conceptualize and design systems and processes that can meet our placement goals at scale, such as communication automation, databases, dashboards, etc.
A data-driven approach to identifying, targeting and driving action on challenges
Experience leading a team
A passion for mentoring others to succeed
Infectious positive energy paired with remarkable empathy
A passion for creating positive outcomes in people’s lives through education
You’re an exceptional candidate if you also have:
Worked at fast-growing organizations
Been involved in hiring graduates from top immersive education programs (coding bootcamps, data science bootcamps, etc.)
A track record of finding new potential employer partners through social media and digital marketing campaigns
Creatively engaged with employer partners to help them identify candidates that are both a technical and cultural fit for their open roles
Equal Pay For Equal Work Act disclosure:
The expected compensation for this role for candidates is $85,000-$100,000 annually, plus benefits, for candidates who fulfill the qualifications for the role. Candidates whose qualifications are above those listed are encouraged to apply as well. All final offers to candidates will be based on that candidate's unique experience and skillset, and not all candidates will qualify for the top of the salary range.
