About the role

Circle Plus is a new opportunity for a scaling community business to extend beyond being a community on Circle. It allows community leaders to own their brand completely by offering white-labeled mobile apps for iOS and Android. With this added feature, customers can get their own branded app in the app stores: built, designed, and managed by Circle. We are in the early stages of Circle Plus, right before hyper-growth, and this is where you come in.

As our first Program Manager (Circle Plus), you’ll have a unique opportunity to work cross- functionally alongside almost every department at Circle (engineering, design, sales, customer success, and customer support) to help our Circle Plus customers build, launch, and maintain mobile apps in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You will be their partner throughout their entire Circle Plus journey.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and leading the app submission process end-to-end, and owning all aspects of project planning, tracking, and communications. This includes helping customers set up their app accounts, collaborating with the Circle Design Studio to create beautiful design assets for our customers, and working with engineering to submit and maintain their apps.

  • Proactively handling schedule and scope changes, identifying risks, mitigating issues, building contingency plans, and managing escalations throughout the app submission process.

  • Partnering closely with other internal stakeholders to share feedback and experiences that help us improve our entire Circle Plus onboarding experience.

  • Spotting inefficiencies in the way we do things, identifying problems, proposing solutions, and leading process improvement projects to root out inefficiencies.

  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the Circle platform and our white-labeled apps, and making recommendations on how customers can use these tools to accelerate their desired outcomes.

You're perfect for the role if...

  • 3+ years of experience working as a project manager, implementation partner, customer success manager, or any role that works cross functionally with business and tech orgs.

  • You’re resourceful. You may not have all the answers, but you know how to find them.

  • You’re committed to making sure the customer has an enjoyable experience throughout each step in their journey and are constantly thinking about ways to improve it.

  • You’re a team player, with a high level of integrity and desire to assist your team. You enjoy working with cross-functional teams and are able to effectively balance competing priorities to make decisions that best support the customer, the team, and Circle.

  • You have an aptitude for digesting and effectively communicating technical concepts across audiences of varying technical ability.


$90,000 - $100,000 a yearThis role may include a variable portion (such as commissions, spiffs or bonuses) to cash compensation. Cash compensation is a starting point, and we want all of our team members to be able to grow in their roles. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, our cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis on the anniversary of your hire date.
