Your Role: Our Product Platform team is dedicated to planning and providing strategy roadmaps for all data services across the company

Your work:

  • Defines the vision and sets the strategy for products that are typically complex, highly-technical, and with deep stakeholder engagement

  • Has accountability for all decisions related to the product

  • Is a product SME: Understands business rules/logic associated with the products and ensures they are documented and maintained; figures out and is actively participating in the appropriate user research activities, defines product KPIs and maintains and reports out on product analytics on an ongoing basis, and regularly seeks out market data to develop points of view and make well-informed product decisions

  • Develops cases to secure funding for new capabilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and technology partners on a regular basis to align on vision, strategy, roadmap prioritization, and release schedule, including providing feedback on existing products and introducing potential products/capabilities to the roadmap

  • Works closely with change management, marketing, operations, and other impacted teams to identify operational and user implications/ as part of release planning; responsible for ensuring operational and business readiness, and contingency planning

  • Acts as the liaison between business and engineering/delivery teams, representing the needs of the business while championing on behalf of the end user

  • Actively handles and leads team members; responsible for ensuring customers and leadership are well-informed of pertinent issues, concerns or challenges

  • Acts as point of escalation for cross-functional teams (e.g., Business, Marketing, IT)

  • Leads and defines operational activities within the organization as needed

What would make us excited about you?

  • 7+ years of previous product management experience, including at least 2 years of digital product management in complex, matrixed organizations

  • Familiarity working with API's, Oracle DB and proficient in SQL queries

  • Experience writing requirements in an agile environment and working with UX and engineering teams

  • Experience representing and championing the voice of the customer across the organization

  • An understanding of the end-to-end SDLC

  • Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others and move toward consensus

  • Excellent situational analysis, data analysis and decision-making abilities

  • Flexible, adaptable, and ability to handle competing priorities

  • For digital products: 4+ years of digital product management experience for web and mobile applications, preferably consumer-facing, including experience in developing product strategy, roadmaps, and proven success launching new digital products

  • Shows respect for differences through excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds.

The national average salary range for this position is $157,770-$175,300. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $141,930-$210,400. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
