Director Media and Campaign Analytics (US Remote)
What you will do

In this vital role the Director, Media and Campaign Analytics, reports to the Executive Director of Decision Sciences, and is responsible for comprehensive measurement of Amgens multimillion dollar marketing portfolio. This visionary leader, in partnership with brand leaders, agency partners, Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI), Global Customer Capabilities (GCC), Commercial Insights (CI), Reporting Center of Excellence (RCOE) and other Commercial leaders, will shape Amgens omnichannel measurement strategy to maximize impact and efficiency across channels and businesses. This leader will create a roadmap to define Amgens current measurement capabilities across the short, mid, and long-term horizons, standing up new capabilities, attracting talent, driving innovation, and scaling best practices across Therapeutic Areas (TAs).
Responsibilities
Media, Web and Targeted HCP Performance analytics
Scalable and standardized measurement plans across TAs
Strategize, plan, and implement various phases of omnichannel analytics with a clear focus of enabling informed promotional planning
Portfolio management: portfolio measurement and reporting, strategy, communication, and investment shift recommendations
Portfolio innovation: design and build pilots, lift and shift of innovation, scaling best practices
Partner with content and brand teams to enable development of the best and most relevant content with analytics
Owner of key partnerships: Build one-on-one relationships with DTI, GCC, Brands, CD&A and global leaders to achieve mutual goals with key partners
Executive Alignment & Governance: Ongoing communication and alignment of media goals, strategy, performance, and decision making with Content and Media strategy leads
Partnership and thought leadership with brand leads and CDA/decisions science
Own self-service reporting important metrics and engage with reporting center of excellence for development and change management for their release
Harmonize all relevant measurement outputs to ROI/ Marketing Mix outputs
This position can be done remotely in the US, however preferred location is Thousand Oaks, CA area.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of analytics, operations or pharma experience
Or
Masters degree and 8 years of analytics, operations or pharma experience
Or
Bachelors degree and 10 years of analytics, operations or pharma experience
And
4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working across marketing strategy & delivery, with an understanding of promotional strategy and execution to both healthcare professionals and consumers
Deep knowledge of media measurement approaches and enabling technology
Prior media agency experience
Experience with Martech stack
Experience supporting campaign design with analytics like (A/B Testing, Attribution Modelling, Tableau Reports etc.)
Ability to translate business goals into measurement strategy and support timely measurement, and optimization of campaigns
Experience launching capabilities, best practices, and new ways of working that enable adoption of a measurement-first attitude
Working knowledge of end-to-end campaign planning processes, working knowledge of marketing platforms and technology, and ability to lead cross-functional partners to craft and execute on large scale strategies
Intellectual capital and curiosity with 80/20 approach and agility to prioritize and pivot based on evolving business objectives
Ability to influence without authority & communication skills through a collaborative approach as this individual will be expected to quickly build rapport and credibility at all levels throughout the organization
Focus on teamwork, relationship-building and influencing others with exceptional ability to co-create and work collectively with various business leaders and cross-functional key partners
Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguity, develop frameworks and distill complex information into concise and impactful messages/presentations

The annual salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $193,186 - $233,846.
